Waterfowl
The Alsek river and Dry Bay area are situated right on the pacific flyway.
We have thousands upon thousands of waterfowl that fly in and land right in our area making it a prime spot to target in season waterfowl.
We interview each hunter before booking because this is our home and this is where we hunt to live not live to hunt. The beauty of Alaska is meant to be shared and we do that by practicing ethical hunting methods.
We come from a long line of hunters in our family and we love to hunt and share this special place with others who enjoy the outdoors as much as we do. Sharing hunting stories and making memories to last a lifetime.

On our Explore Alaska trips, we will do several activities not limited to the following. We’ll plan a day trip to Alsek Glacier Lake, ride four-wheelers to the beach for a bonfire, hike along the beach, and maybe have a salmon cookout by the ocean. We’ll drive along the coastline on four-wheelers to see the rocks where the grand plateau glacier meets the ocean and creates a big waterfall. Each activity we plan will be based on what the weather is doing for that day. We will make sure to pick activities for all to enjoy, you having the best experience possible is our top priority!

Just bring your fishing gear, Alaska fishing license, and the specific items from the list we provide—everything else is on us! We will be fishing on the East river which is approximately 5 miles from our lodge. Weather and tides depending we could be fishing the mouth of the river, mid river, or up river. and maybe all over! we will do our best to take you right to where the fish are. Duck Hunting
Sept 1st - October 10th
Drybay is part of the Lost Coast of Alaska. Nestled right on the Pacific Flyway, we are privileged to witness the incredible migration of thousands of birds each season. If you're interested in adding bird hunting to your fishing adventure, just let us know! You're also welcome to join us exclusively for waterfowl hunting—it's an experience you won't forget. We maintain a selective approach to our hunting guests each season, which means we conduct interviews to ensure a good fit. If this sparks your interest, we look forward to hearing from you.
