Fly Out Fishing Lodge

We are just 40 air-miles from the small fishing town of Yakutat, Alaska, and our remote location offers a true escape for adventurers and those seeking a peaceful retreat alike. Accessible only by plane, this pristine environment is home to diverse wildlife, including bears, wolves, moose, eagles, and, of course, salmon. Surrounding forests and mountains provide endless opportunities for exploration — whether hiking, fishing, or wildlife watching. As you soak in the solitude and beauty of this untouched corner of Alaska, you’ll discover a sense of serenity that’s hard to find in today’s fast-paced world. Join us at Alsek River Adventures, where you can experience the adventure, the wildlife, and the quiet majesty that make this region so extraordinary.

At Alsek River Adventures, we make your Alaska fishing trip effortless and unforgettable. Your all-inclusive adventure on the East Alsek River includes chartered flights from Yakutat, gourmet meals prepared daily, and complimentary fish processing. All you need to do is arrive in Yakutat, grab your sport fishing license, and bring your favorite gear — from there, we handle everything so you can focus on fishing, exploring, and soaking in the beauty of Alaska.

Our five-night trips are all about chasing Coho in September — prime time for incredible fishing and action-packed days on the river. But that’s not all you’ll find here! We also see strong runs of Sockeye, Chum, and Pink salmon, and for the truly dedicated, King salmon make their appearance in early summer. King trips are limited and offered to just a few anglers each season. From mid-May to mid-October, there’s always something running — and always a great story waiting to be caught.

What our guests have to say about staying with us at the Alsek River Adventures Lodge

  • Brian and Samantha, huge thanks for such an amazing trip!

You two were incredible hosts — couldn’t have asked for better. The fishing was epic and the food was next level — over the top with hot lunch on the river. Between the setting, scenery, laughs, and the best fishing in all of our years coming to Yakutat it honestly couldn’t have been better. Thanks for everything and we can’t wait for next year!
